John S. Clark Company Ranks with Top Design Build Contractors
Southeast Construction recently announced that General Contractor, John S. Clark Company, LLC ranked as the 15th largest Design-Build Contractor in the Southeast United States. The company completed $59,371,846 in design-build projects during 2007 throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. John S. Clark Company, LLC was ranked 2nd in North Carolina.
Southeast Construction featured John S. Clark Company’s largest design-build project underway in 2007, which was the Swedwood Furniture Manufacturing Facility in Danville, VA. The facility was Swedwood’s first installation in the United States and totaled 900,000 square feet and sitework on 85 acres. Swedwood is a subsidiary of IKEA.
Some of John S. Clark’s current design-build projects are Calvary Baptist Church in Advance, NC and Doosan International in Statesville, NC.
Southeast Construction is a division of McGraw-Hill Companies. The magazine publishes “The Southeast’s Top Design-Builders” annually. The rankings are based on the amount of revenue that each firm generated through its design-build services in 2007. The ranking includes projects located only in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
