Livian Jones is Appointed to Wilmington Housing Authority Board of Directors
Livian Jones, Vice President has been appointed to the Wilmington, NC Housing Authority Board of Commissioners by Mayor Saffo.
“The Wilmington Housing Authority is the leader in promoting affordable housing opportunities for low and moderate income families and is committed to offering quality housing choices and economic opportunities for the residents of Wilmington, NC. The Wilmington housing Authority owns and manages nearly 1,200 units at seven public housing sites and one Section 8 Development, including 266 units set aside for elderly or disabled residents at four of those sites.” (www.wha.net)
Livian operates from John S. Clark Company’s Wilmington, NC office and oversees the process of acquiring new business for the company. She has been in the construction industry since 1989 and is a licensed General Contractor in North Carolina.
Livian is an active member of many local community associations including Cape Fear Council Boy Scouts of America Board of Director and Chair of Leadership Luncheons, the Director of Furniture Finders, Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Little Chapel on the Boardwalk member, UNCW Foundation Board and Events Chairperson for the SSN-777 North Carolina Submarine Commissioning. Livian also volunteers her time for various fundraising activities with Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity and Cape Fear Community College.
Livian is active in many professional organizations including Coastal Carolina Tomorrow Board of Directors, Commercial Development Council, International Council of Shopping Centers, North Carolina Economic Development Association (NCEDA) and National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).
