Constuction Manager, John S. Clark Company, Completes Northern Hospital of Surry's Surgery Center
John S. Clark Company, LLC recently completed The Surgery Center at Northern Hospital of Surry County in Mount Airy, NC. This new, state-of-the-art facility includes integrated digital operating rooms, pre-admission testing, patient prep and holding areas, day surgery, endoscopy, family and visitor waiting, family consultation areas, post anesthesia care, and sterile processing. In addition, there is a Surgery Center Information Desk located in the spacious and comfortable waiting area.
John S. Clark was the Construction Manager for this 59,000 SF project which was completed in 15 months. As an additional benefit to the Owner, John S. Clark competitively bid and won the structural steel, concrete and general trades prime contracts.
John S. Clark Company has been working with Northern Hospital of Surry County since 1983 in the role of Construction Manager. Previously completed projects include an 8 bed addition, renovations to the 1955 Tower, an Administrative Office Building, a Hospital Maintenance Building, and Main Floor renovations including Oncology, Medical Records, and Diagnostics. Other projects are a 420 space parking lot, the Occupational Health addition and the Emergency Department renovation.
